The Executive Office of Health and Human Services Human Resources Office is established to provide effective leadership and management of the following: diversity, equity, inclusion, and access/civil rights; HR policy and program coordination; workers’ compensation; HRIS development and implementation; employment and staffing services; training; benefits and leave administration; payroll; HR investigations; classification and compensation; HR compliance and labor relations.

The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) has oversight, policy, and budget authority for ten health and human service departments and MassHealth. Together, EOHHS and its departments deliver over $29 billion in health and human services to the residents of the Commonwealth. As the Commonwealth’s largest Secretariat, EOHHS has approximately 22,000 employees and serves over 2 million individuals throughout the Commonwealth. Its mission is to lead the development and delivery of services that promote health and safety, independence, and quality of life for individuals, families, and communities.

Since its inception in 2003, the Office of Human Resources has enhanced service delivery and achieved significant efficiencies in basic HR processes. Today, the office provides services that support both the strategic goals and operational needs of the secretariat as well as its individual departments.

Salary range: $121,284.47 – $188,252.13 yearly
